Kim Reeser is a fiber and embroidery artist. She enjoys creating embroidery hoop art and other mixed media pieces using the standard supplies, but also incorporates some unique vintage pieces and found objects into her art. Her mother started her off with cross stitching when she was about 10 years old. The most recent addition to her love of hand embroidery has been the punch needle, and she plans on doing some felting in the near future. Kim especially likes the mid-century modern (1950s/60s) era of design and decorating, and her embroidery designs are inspired by this time period.
Currently Kim is a stay at home mom to two boys, and she occasionally substitute teaches at a few local schools. She served 7 years active duty in the Air Force, including 4 incredible years in Japan.
