The Black Forest Arts & Crafts Guild is proud to award a scholarship of $1,500 this year!

This year’s Black Forest Arts & Crafts Guild Scholarship Awardee of $1,500 is Allison R. Palmer. Allison is an honors’ graduate of Pine Creek High School and is continuing her education by attending the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado.

She is majoring in Engineering and planning to minor in Humanitarian Engineering. Allison has a projected graduation date of May 2022. After graduation, Allison’s goal is to travel and explore new cultures. She hopes to use her education to design tools to help disabled individuals, and develop more efficient clean water systems.

Allison is a member of the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, and the Tri-M Music Honor Society. Allison has been active in many school and community activities including Writer’s Guild, co-captain of Girl’s Golf, softball, co-leader in choir, High Trails, and Creek Connection.
