Karen fell in love with making soap four years ago when she decided to make some for gifts. She is a Registered Dietitian by trade so the food science aspect of it intrigued her, and it is also why many of her soap creations look like food. Many times, she has heard “your soaps look good enough to eat”. However, she does not recommend that! Since moving to Colorado many of her soaps also have Colorado themed scenery such as Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. Not only do her soaps look pretty but they smell wonderful. Her motto is “Buy the pretty soap and use it, I will make more”. You can find her at the local Backyard Market in Black Forest during the season.
