Mary Madison
Fiber Arts
Mary Madison is an avid Fiber Artist and Potter. She also does weaving, art quilts, eco paper prints and punch-needle work. She is the author of “Plantation Slave Weavers Remember – An Oral History”, was Founder and Executive Director of the Berwick Art Center in Berwick, Nova Scotia, and created and managed the Textile Arts and Vets Weaving Center to introduce veterans and their family to weaving as a creative outlet and stress-reducing endeavor.
In addition to being a fiber arts instructor, Mary is Outreach Director for Textiles West and Project Coordinator for Textiles West partnership with Military Arts Connection.
Mary has an MS Degree in Organizational Development and an AAS Degree in Veterinary Medicine.
