Black Forest Arts & Crafts Guild Scholarship
The Black Forest Arts & Crafts Guild was established in 1964 and is the longest, continuously running craft guild west of the Mississippi River. It consists of local artists and crafters who annually donate to groups and individuals that enhance the Black Forest Community. Members of the Guild, the local community and patrons of our Spring and Fall Craft Shows fund the scholarship.
The Black Forest Arts & Crafts Guild Scholarship was created in 2006 and is awarded annually to a graduating senior attending a local high school (public, private, charter, or home school). Applicants must physically reside within the 80908 or 80831 zip code area. The school attended does not have to be in the boundaries.
The purpose of the annual Black Forest Arts and Crafts Guild Scholarship is to provide financial assistant toward higher education for a student living in the Black Forest/Peyton (80908 or 80831) area who demonstrates academic excellence, involvement in the community, personal growth and commitment to a cause.
Eligible students must have been accepted by the last day of July 2026 to an accredited college, university, or trade school. Any applicant failing to achieve the acceptance will forfeit any award won. Awards paid directly to school.
All qualified applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee which is comprised of members of the Guild. The acceptance process is based on the information requested in the application form. It is important to meet the requirements requested in the application.
If interested: Please complete the attached scholarship application and email it to: BFACGScholarship@yahoo.com, NO LATER THAN midnight Sunday April 26, 2026. Late applications will not be accepted.
